The Aubert mystery: the elected woman benefited from largesse from the First Deputy to the Mayor of Jouy-en-Josas
Three weeks ago, Contrib’City asked Mrs. Marie-Hélène Aubert, now the mayor of Jouy-en-Josas, to provide it with the evidence of her lease with its lessor, in this case Mr. Gilles Curti. As reported by CC previously, in its article dated 27 August 2020, Mr. Curti, who retained the post of first municipality assistant after the elections of 2020, is the owner of, among others, a vast Jouy estate (of more than 3,000 m2 and several villas).
As a reminder, Mrs. Aubert declared, in her municipality elections’ nomination file (which is public), that she was renting a real estate property, in Jouy-en-Josas. The mentionned address is found to correspond to a house of around 200 m2 (attached to another through a patio) including a garden of 1500 m2. Mrs. Aubert, mayor of Jouy-en-Josas, first female vice president of Versailles Grand-Parc and vice president of Yvelines, rented, in 2014, this villa – situated on the estate of Curti – at an unbeatable price: € 1410 all charges included, even including the services of a gardener! A point of comparison, the actual market indicates that for the sum of € 1300, one can only have a two-room apartment (70m2) in the centre of Jouy.
Note the very low amount of the commission of the real estate agency GSIM Immobilier: € 200 from the tenant and € 200 from the lessor. Generally, the fee is equivalent to one month’s rent for each of the parties. Advice to all lessees: get closer to this structure that truly offers unbeatable rental prices! A pity that it is found 14 km away from the rental villa. Madam vice-president of Yvelines nevertheless enjoys a heritage, real estate and furniture, estimated by Contrib’City, in the present state of knowledge, to more than 2.6 million euros – and as she had (finally) acknowledged on the last 20th January – of comfortable income: € 6400 net/month (the median salary of the French was € 1710 in 2018).
Despite the fact that the question of Contrib’City is founded upon the article 1 of the Munich Charter, dated 1971, and which compels Madam Mayor to send these documents, the city council did not take it into account and the site did not receive anything. Consequently, CC raises the question to know if the Jouy-en-Josas address that Mrs. Marie-Hélène Aubert mentioned in her municipal candidature file in 2020 has well been declared for tax purposes. If no, the file would end up wrong.
